Meet the doctor behind your care
MBBS, BDSc (Hons), Postgraduate Diploma Surg Anat
I’m Dr Jaclyn Wong, one of a small number of practitioners in Australia who holds both a medical and a dental degree. These two disciplines are often treated as separate worlds, but in reality, they’re far more closely connected than most people realise.
The health of your teeth affects the structure of your face, and the way your face ages is inseparable from what’s happening beneath the surface. As a dual qualified medical and dental practitioner, I can manage both in the one clinic.
For almost two decades, I’ve been helping patients address tooth loss, compromised dental health and functionality with treatments designed to overcome these problems as well as volume loss and facial asymmetry.
My interests include general oral surgery and All-on-4® full-arch implant surgery which is my subspeciality. I have been recognised as a Nobel Biocare Centre of Excellence. A dual medical and dental foundation shapes not just the range of treatments I can provide, but how I approach each patient’s care as a whole.
Dr Wong's clinic is the only practice nominated by the Australasian Academy of Dento-Facial Aesthetics (AADFA) as their only Victorian Atelier Centre where fellow practitioners train under her guidance in facial rejuvenation techniques.

Every patient walks in with a different story, a different concern, and a different idea of what they want to achieve. Dr Wong takes the time to understand what’s happening clinically, but she also wants to know what her patients are hoping for. Sometimes those two things align, and sometimes they don’t, and that’s where an honest conversation matters. She will always have that conversation directly and with care.
For patients considering whether her practice is the right fit, she encourages them to come in and find out. A consultation with Dr Wong is a conversation, not a commitment.
A considered approach to dental implant treatment outcomes
Preparation is the foundation of every treatment Dr Wong delivers.
Before beginning any implant or surgical procedure, patients are encouraged to complete an advanced intensive oral health therapy program designed to give them the strongest possible starting point.
The health of the gums before surgery, and a patient’s commitment to maintaining them afterwards, both play a critical role in determining long term outcomes. It’s a step Dr Wong prioritises because she’s seen the difference it makes.
After treatment, patients continue to be supported through the clinic’s hygiene programme, using EMS Airflow technology. This method is not only gentle but thorough in removing plaque and is known to assist with gum health rejuvenation successfully.
Areas of Care
Dr Jaclyn Wong’s practice covers two distinct areas, each managed with the same level of attention and clinical care.

Dr Wong’s dental practice is focused on oral surgery, with dental implants and All-on-4® full-arch restoration as her primary areas of work. She also provides tooth extractions, emergency oral surgery, gum recession treatment, pinhole gum surgery, pre-prosthetic surgery, and more. She utilises the latest technology in tissue regeneration featuring platelet rich fibrin (stem cells) to ensure predictable outcomes.

For patients who have lost most or all of their teeth, or are living with heavily damaged teeth, All-on-4® offers a fixed, full-arch solution supported by just four implants in each arch. Dr Wong has been performing the procedure for over 15 years, training at the Malo Clinic in Lisbon, the practice that pioneered the technique. In 2023, Nobel Biocare awarded her a Centre of Excellence award to recognise her outstanding achievements in this field of oral surgery, a distinction confirmed as continuing to this day.
Patients considering All-on-4® are encouraged to book a consultation with Dr Wong to discuss their suitability.
